Working with Loop Future.

We've tried to make this page genuinely useful for anyone working out whether Loop Future is the right partner for you. You'll find the commercial models explained in plain terms, what day-to-day delivery actually looks like, and how we think about quality as a practical thing rather than a certification exercise.

If something here doesn't answer your question, get in touch and ask us directly.

Choose how you want to work with us.

Whether it's support with custom software, Salesforce, streaming apps, low code or any of our other services, the four models below cover how we organise the work for most situations. If none quite fits what you have in mind, tell us and we'll work something out.

T&M

Team Augmentation

Best when: you need extra people or teams working as part of your org.

Engineers are embedded within your teams, with your logins, using your tools & your repos. Teams follow your ways of working, join your standups, work to your direction and your prioritisation. You decide what gets built and when; we focus on building it well. You can scale up or down as the project evolves. Engineers and teams can either be fully allocated to you or we can arrange a number of hours that you can draw down on flexibly as needed over a period of time.

The Loop Future support structure means we will regularly check in with our Engineers and teams to ensure quality is as we'd expect, and you have regular touchpoints with the named Customer Success Manager to ensure you're delighted.

The team is invoiced on a daily or hourly rate, according to timesheets which you approve.

Teams on demand

Managed Teams

Best when: you want a team to own a body of work, not just execute tickets.

You define what roles you need on a team, we spin it up, and take genuine responsibility for delivery from your backlog for the duration you need. You get more strategic input and accountability than a standard augmentation engagement, but it stays fully collaborative with regular demos and updates. Typically this is also delivered with your logins, your tools & your repos (and of course your prioritisation) as this maximises your visibility of what we're producing. Engineers and teams can either be fully allocated to you or we can arrange a number of hours that you can draw down on flexibly as needed over a period of time.

A named Scrum Master will regularly check in with our teams to ensure quality and progress is as we'd expect, and you have regular touchpoints with the named Customer Success Manager to ensure you're delighted.

Invoiced on a fixed monthly price.

Fixed

Fixed Price

Best when: you have a well-defined piece of work and want cost and timeline certainty.

You give us the brief, we build the right team and deliver according to the defined milestones. We'll test to the acceptance criteria and you'll perform final User Acceptance Testing. You get regular updates and demos throughout the project so there are no surprises. Once we're done, you choose whether we hand it over to your team or keep us on to maintain it.

The named Project Manager / Scrum Master will oversee quality and progress daily, and you have regular touchpoints with both the team and the named Customer Success Manager to ensure you're delighted.

Invoiced against fixed prices tied to pre-agreed milestones and acceptance criteria.

Hiring

RPO / Contract-to-Hire

Best when: you need to build permanent headcount quickly, or want to try before you commit.

We act as an extension of your Talent team, handling sourcing, screening and onboarding in a seamless candidate journey so you can move fast. We can log everything on your ATS or ours, and we can even monitor mailboxes you provide us if that's what you prefer. We drive the process, strive for efficiency and ideally can book interviews in pre-defined slots in hiring Managers' diaries, if you like. The Contract-to-Hire option lets you work with someone who's passed interviews and screening rounds on an interim basis for an agreed period (during which they'll be hired by us) before deciding whether you want to bring them on to your team permanently.

You'll get regular reports on progress against different KPIs, and you have regular touchpoints with the named Customer Success Manager to ensure you're delighted.

Invoiced as a percentage of the hired person's salary or total cost to company.

A reminder, our teams can work CET hours regardless of where they're based. For customers wanting an overlap with teams in North America or Asia, let us know, we can arrange that too.

What working with us actually looks like.

A few things that come up in almost every conversation with a new client.

01
We get started quickly

For most team augmentation engagements, we can have people in place within two weeks of agreeing scope. For larger managed teams it typically takes a little longer, but we move as fast as you need us to and are always transparent on what we think. We know you don't want to be let down, so we set clear expectations and then make sure we hit them. For people joining your teams, we ensure they have the right experience so they can hit the ground running.

One of the things we do to ensure we succeed here is rigorously qualify with you exactly what you're after in terms of skills, specific experience and soft skills so that you truly get the right fit for your team.

02
You control the ways of working

On Time & Materials work where we embed people or teams into your organisation, we follow your ways of working exactly. We use whatever tools you're already using, follow your processes, work on your repos and would tend to get IDs directly on your platform. We also arrange training for our teams during onboarding, on any processes or ways of working which we agree warrant it.

This is usually also the case for Managed Teams work, although for Fixed Price work we usually work on our own repos and follow our own processes (although not always - we're flexible and happy to discuss). On RPO, we can use your ATS if you like, just let us know.

03
Regular updates & reports

We believe in regular updates on Slack or Teams, regular demos and clear reporting. If something is at risk, you'll hear it from us with options on how to mitigate or resolve. Some customers prefer weekly formal check-ins, others prefer a different cadence, or possibly split reporting including a monthly or quarterly more senior alignment - we will work however fits best with your organisation. Any KPIs you need us to track, just let us know.

04
Flexibility to scale

Need to add extra capacity for a couple of sprints, or scale back after go-live? As long as we have a bit of a heads up in advance, we're happy to flex with your needs rather than lock you into headcount you don't need. This is one of the things your Customer Success Manager will try to get visibility of so we're always providing you the level of support you want.

05
People continuity

We try hard not to rotate people off your project unnecessarily. The Engineers who start tend to be the Engineers who finish, which means better context, better code and a better working relationship over time. Our focus on and investment in being a good place to work and on team retention helps with this.

Another thing that helps with this is that we have a team of mid-level and senior-level Engineers, so we don't have juniors who we need to train and rotate around projects.

What we do to make sure things go well.

Quality isn't a checkbox at the end of a project. Code review, automated testing, architectural oversight and regular retrospectives are built into every engagement from the start, not added in if there's time.

We're also transparent when things are harder than expected. Every engagement has a regular status touchpoint with a straight read on progress, risks and what we're doing about them. There are no end-of-project surprises.

Loop Future is B Corp certified and is recognised by Portugal's National Innovation Agency (ANI) for R&D competency. For the formal quality policy, you can read it here.

Senior oversight on every engagement, not just at kick-off
Retrospectives throughout, not just at the end
You own the code and IP from day one
We work within your security and data handling policies
Escalation paths agreed upfront so nobody guesses who to call
Clear handover documentation at the end of every engagement
